Course Information:
This qualification reflects the multi-skilled role of individuals in operational and customer support positions in the sport or community recreation industry. These individuals are competent in a range of activities and functions requiring autonomous work within a defined range of situations and environments.

Assessments: Assessment methods include case studies, examinations, scenarios completed through workbooks and training sessions, simulated workplace activities, role plays, and practical demonstrations of the chosen elective

Duration: 48 weeks (Full Time)
Mixed Mode Delivery – self paced workbooks and face-to-face workshops with 20% distance learning.
Entry Requirements: This qualification requires a minimum of year 10 completion or equivalent. GIC requires students to be a minimum of 18 years of age and to demonstrate that they have sufficient English Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) through satisfactory completion of GIC’s pre-enrolment LLN test. International students may be required to provide evidence of their English Language Proficiency to the minimum level of 6.0 in IELTS or equivalent. (Exceptions exist, please discuss with the admissions department).
Recognition: This course holds national accreditation under the Australian Qualification Framework (AQF).
