Course Structure and Content

This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to manage, as an independent ICT specialist or as part of a team, the installation of a range of networks, including internetworking, security and e-business integration.

Upon successful completion of this course the student would be awarded the ICT50418 Diploma of Information Technology Networking which is a nationally recognised qualification. This could help students gain entry into career paths or further education in the field of ICT.

Core Units

• Implement server virtualisation for a sustainable ICT system
• Install and manage complex ICT networks
• Match ICT needs with the strategic direction of the organisation
