Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician

This qualification provides competencies to select, install, set up, test, fault find, repair and maintain systems and equipments in building s and premises. The qualification includes ERAC – Electrical Regulatory Authorities Council requirements for an Electrician’s license. This course does not provide graduates with a licence to work as an electrician in Australia but fulfils academic requirements.

Duration 104 weeks

You must attend class 20 hours every week. You will also need to complete self paced learning
from home. Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician includes 480 hours of vocational training (unpaid).

Assessment of competencies will be done by the trainer throughout the course.  You will have to complete written and practical assessments and workplace demonstration and observation.

You will be studying at our Darwin Campus which is located at : 11/41 Sadgroves crescent, Winnelie. The campus is easily accessible by bus or with a car and has free parking spaces.

Intake dates every two months (January, March, May, July, September, November)

To enrol into this course you will need to have completed Australian Year 11 or equivalent and have an overall IELTS score of 5.5. You must be over 18 years old. Due to the physical requirements of this qualification the student must have the ability to perform CPR on a manikin.

There will also be an entrance test to assess your mathematical and analytical skills.
