The GDB is designed to provide knowledge and skills embedded in contemporary business practice in an advanced course of study for both graduates and experienced managers. The course aims to develop graduates capable of generating strategic and creative solutions to problems in business and the public sector requiring a familiarity with interdisciplinary analysis. Graduates are in high demand in the public sector and small and large corporations in fields involving their initial expertise linked with accounting and finance, entrepreneurship, marketing or human resource management. Graduates may choose to set up small businesses as self-employed entrepreneurs. The course creates networking opportunities with cohorts of achievement oriented students and delivers strong return on investment for graduates.

The course can be completed in 1 year of full time study over two study periods. On completion of this course, there is the guaranteed pathway into the Holmes Master of Business Administration (MBA) which can be completed in just a further 6 months of full-time study.
